Operational partner

Lawyerd is a partner in Cloudflare’s Brand Protection programme with API-level access for takedown operations on Cloudflare-protected domains — which is where a large share of phishing and clone infrastructure sits. This is not a public-tier integration; it is a controlled-access channel for verified enforcement practitioners.

§ 03 · Why this matters

In crypto, impersonation is not a nuisance. It is theft in progress.

Every impostor channel, cloned exchange and deepfake AMA is actively converting your users’ trust into someone else’s wallet. Victims blame the brand they thought they were dealing with — and regulators, exchanges and banking partners read the resulting complaints as your compliance problem.

Platform abuse forms treat this as a queue. SaaS monitoring tools list the clones but cannot compel anyone to act. Big-law drafts one cease-and-desist while forty new mirrors go live. None of those tools match the volume or the speed of the attack.

What works is fast, lawful, documented removal under named statute — Berne Convention, EU Directive 2019/790, 17 U.S.C. §512, GDPR Article 17 where applicable — filed with the host, the registrar’s abuse channel, the platform’s legal channel and search engines in parallel. Filed by counsel. Reviewed before submission.

§ 04 · Our approach

Three constraints, held together.

Speed

Six-day median to removal.

From authorised takedown notice to confirmed removal or delisting. Active phishing reviewed daily; volume operations scale weekly.

Legality

Every removal under named statute.

Berne, EU 2019/790, DMCA Title 17 §512, GDPR Article 17. We do not pay for removal. We do not threaten. We file.

Discretion

Counsel-signed engagements.

Communications encrypted. NDA-first standard. No marketing material includes your name unless you explicitly authorise it.

§ 05 · A recent matter M / 01 · Anonymised

Deepfake-endorsement campaign shut down across three platforms.

A public figure’s likeness was used in AI-generated videos endorsing an investment scheme, seeded across YouTube ads, TikTok and a network of Telegram channels. We filed the first identity-misuse and copyright notices within 18 hours of intake and resolved the bulk of the network within 14 days, with the hosting and ad accounts behind it disabled.
